I was going to title this post "My Man", but then I thought how selfish that would be to consider Tanner to be mine, and mine alone. Fact is, I share him with two other little ladies, and he is the man in their lives too.
Gwen and Lily adore their father.
Yeah, I'm at home and about with them during the day, but consequently this makes me "old news".
Rightly, so.
At the end of the day, when Mommy is busy getting supper ready, tidying the day's messes, and worn-out from all that the day had to offer, Daddy walks in the door ready to play Giant Robot, hide-and-seek, and take a trip to the park - Even when he is just as exhausted as I am from his work day.
Gwen and Lily love him for it.
And so do I.
Thank you, Tanner, for being such a great Father to our girls.
Nothing would make me happier than to see my daughters each marry a young man with your virtues
ambition
contentment
forgiveness
patience
honesty
peity
respect
kindness
goodness
obedience
helpfulness
wisdom
How did I get to be so fortunate?
I take you for granted most days, I think.

Thank you for picking me.
