These days Gwen has been saying funny things like:
"Holy Cat!"
and
"That's crazy!"
She also says "What?" when she means to say "Why?"
She's obsessed with fighting imaginary monsters and running/hiding from giant invisible robots, and she loves to cook me up pickle soup and cookies with her pink play kitchen.
She loves to sing songs, especially "Ben" where the name 'Ben' is replaced with 'Gwen', as well as "You're Just Too Good to be True" where 'Oh pretty baby' is replaced with 'Oh Lily baby'. She requests these both quite often by asking me to sing "Gwen's Song" and "Lily's Song".
She's compelled to dance when she hears a beat. Usually her dance moves are a combination of modified Zumba moves and "princess twirling". Her go-to move is the hip shake. She wants me to say "Bravo! Bravo!" at the end of each of her "performances".
Her favorite television show is Toopi and Binoo. As soon as she hears it's intro song, she will scream "Toopi en Ninoo!" and if I'm not there to join her in her excitement she will find me where ever I am in the house to make sure I know that Toopi and Binoo is on and that I'm just as excited as her.
"Toopi en Ninoo! Mom! Toopi en Ninoo!"
We go to the Zoo quite often, and if you came with us, you would know that the Hippos are her favorite. In fact, they are so much her favorite, that Gwen not only sees hippos at the zoo, but everywhere else, too. Practically any large grey object is a hippo, at least to Gwen's imagination : )
Gwen is the easiest to order for when we eat at a restaurant.
"And for the little one?"
"A Caesar salad, please."
Every time.
She hates getting her hair done. Ironically, she loves looking at herself in the mirror when she has pigtails/bows/hair clips.
It's her favorite.
