What is up with Costco produce?
I mean, why does it have to be so freaking good!? I'm a small grocery store kind of girl, who likes to get small bundles and bunches of fruit each week. Until I started buying fruit at Costco. I mean, seriously, it is the freshest most tasty fruit around. Why can't other grocery store produce taste as good, it would allow me to stop buying 8 lb bags of oranges or pears, or a case of 2 dozen kiwis. *sigh* At least I know that they will be the best tasting oranges, pears, and kiwis. Let's just say, we eat a lot of fruit in this house. So maybe I should stop complaining.

On another topic, Tanner has finished his portfolio (it's amazing!) and I am mailing them out to the universities today! Saying that Tanner put time and effort into this portfolio would be an understatement, I think. He has been living and breathing this portfolio for the past 6 months. And it was sure worth it. We have an extra copy that is staying with us, so one one of these days I will take some pictures of it to share with you all.
I'm surprising Tanner today by cleaning up our bedroom and doing laundry. I don't know what happened, but we haven't been able to see our bedroom floor since Christmas. I know, I'm horrible. But Tanner will sure be surprised to see our long lost floor.

ReplyDeleteWe will have to try costco fruit. I don't know if I ever have! Since there's only two of us it's hard to get through large amounts of food...but it sounds like it's worth it!
I love costco too! There is actually a reason for why they are so good...produce is graded, and in the states you can't sell less than grade A, I think it is? Its against the law and stuff, and costco sets there own company rule for doing the same in Canada, and all other canadian grocery stores don't...so thus, amazing produce!!
ReplyDeleteKailey, you definitely should try out thier fruit. I know it's in bulk, but you wont have any trouble eating through it all because you wont be able to stop eating the fruit! So yummy!
ReplyDeleteCC, I had heard once that Costco has first pick at their produce. Now that I've heard it from a second source, I beieve it.
