Kimchi - A Most Divine Creation

Could there be anything more delicious than Kimchi?  I think not.

It is Sunday night, Gwen is in bed, and we are watching Lord of the Ring: Return of the King (extended edition, which means it's even longer and more awesome than you can possibly imagine). Tanner and I get the munchies, but we are such weird people, that our go to movie snack is kimchi, rice, and kim (dried seaweed). So tasty. So yum.

If you haven't tried kimchi, or any Korean food for that matter, you need to come over and we'll make you a dish. Better yet, we will take you out to an amazing Korean restaurant that we discovered last month. You will not be disappointed.

I'm serious about this people! You need to try it!

P.S. I am horrible at spelling. Good thing blogger has spell check!

  1. i LOVE kimchi! i'm curious how you acquired a love for the stuff...it's not often you run into someone else who loves fermented cabbage that sets your mouth on fire. HA! Our family has lived in Korea a couple times during my life thanks to a Dad who served his mission there and such. That picture makes my mouth water...yumm!

Seriously, I'm going to have to get the name of that Korean restaurant if we're heading out to Calgary! A good Korean restaurant is a treasure :)

  2. Laura.R: I know! Kimchi isn't quite the common condiment, but like your Dad, Tanner served his mission in Korea. Never been there though! That's totally cool that you've lived there...TWICE!
