I gave Gwen spaghetti for lunch today. It was the first time that she's tried it and she REALLY liked it. (But I really do think that she likes any kind of food that is messy and that she can play with.) Lately it is becoming more and more difficult to feed Gwen with a spoon as she really wants to be independent. She wont feed herself with a spoon, of course, but she's decided that meal times are a time for her to have fun and make a mess. It's a love/hate relationship for me though; I love that she can feed herself so that I can focus on other things like cleaning or whatever, but I hate how difficult it is to feed her pureed foods or other things that require my help.
Anyway, I wanted to post a picture of Gwen's spaghetti explosion today alongside an old photo of me. Any similarities?
As I'm taking a closer look at the old pic of me, I'm realizing that it looks as if I had just recently tried giving myself a haircut :) My bangs are all crooked!
ReplyDeleteWOW! You've done a lot since you went private...I don't get updates when people go private so I didn't even know you had new posts! Looks like your family has had great fun! Isaac had his first snow episode and I think he was most unhappy about not being able to move in his snow suit. He did eat some snow, though. Can't wait to see Gwen for her birthday!
