- Gwen turned 1. I know that this should have deserved it's own post, but life happens. We had a wonderful birthday party in Innisfail with a bunch of family. We played games, ate cake, opened presents, and had a baby dance party!
- Tanner got the flu. For the first time ever, I saw Tanner throw-up. It was gross, and I didn't know what to do, because I'm usually the one who gets sick, not him.
- I got a really bad cold that has managed to hang on for almost two months now. I am seriously annoyed at this thing.
- Gwen went through her first ear infection. Poor girl. We are such dim parents, that we didn't know what was going on until her ear drum burst and fluid started coming out of her ear. We then quickly took her to go see a doctor. One bottle of antibiotics later, and Gwen is back to normal. Lesson learned.
- Our house turned into a sty. Because everyone has been getting sick, the house has been a little neglected. I plan to get it all sparkly clean before we leave for the holidays, so that we will come home in the new year to a clean and beautiful home. Start the year off fresh!
- The live Nativity at Heritage Park. Our Stake is putting on the nativity this year. Apparently it is a huge event, and we are excited to attend. Check it out at http://www.calgarynativity.org/ and bring your family!
- Christmas with the family. This is a bit obvious. Who isn't excited about Christmas!?
- December 20th. Call me ridiculous, but for the past month and a half, I have entered, daily, an online contest to win a $20,000 Dream Vacation from Ferrero Roche/CityTV. I know it's a total long-shot, but hey, a girl can dream. They announce the finalist on December 20th. To learn more, visit http://www.ferrerorocher.ca/contest.php
