Gwen and I went to the Zoo twice this week: with Tanner on Saturday, and then with Auntie Susan today. Let me tell you, buying a Calgary Zoo Pass was one of the best decisions we made in 2010. (Check out more best decisions.) It has been so wonderful to go to the zoo at anytime with no extra costs. Gwen loves to press her face up to the glass and look at all the animals. She also has so much fun at the zoo playground that she is now, finally, big enough to play on. The ice-cream is also a favorite of both mine and Gwen's. So creamy. So yum. Even though the zoo is open all year round, it doesn't have ice-cream during the winter months. I am glad to say that the sun is shining and we can now please our taste buds with this cold creamy goodness.
Here are a few photos of our last two trips to the zoo.

I am definitely looking forward to more trips there. One of our passes is a guest pass, which means that anyone can use it! If you want a day out in the sun, a look at some amazing animals from around the world, and ice cream, give me a ring!
Here's a song that we've been listening to a lot, lately, as it is finally sunny and nice out! Take a listen, and then go play outside :)

ReplyDeleteAwesome photos Jenny! So awesome that you have a pass and can go all year long! I think I'm going to look into that up here... P.S Gwen is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHow does the pass work? Maybe thats something we should look into?
ReplyDeleteAmen to the song!
Getting an annual Zoo pass is different now from when we purchased them last July. When we bought ours the pass included parking, but now a pass that includes parking is more expensive. Check out there website for all the info, here:

The pass that DOESN'T include parking may be cheaper initially, but then there will be a $5 parking fee for each visit.
