Sunday in the Mountains

This last Sunday, our little family spent the day in Banff/ Lake Louise. Instead of our regular church service, there was a regional broadcast from Salt Lake, so we thought this would be a great chance to take a family trip to the mountains as we could watch the broadcast at the Banff chapel.

After the broadcast we cooked up some oatmeal in the kitchen and ate our lunch on the church lawn with the mountains as our backdrop. What a beautiful country/province we live in. After lunch we took a beautiful drive through the mountains stopping at Lake Louise.

The last time Tanner and I were at Lake Louise together was nearly four years ago. Lake Louise was one of our many stops as we drove up the Rocky Mountains for our honeymoon. Look how little we were then! Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

It was wonderful seeing how our family has grown since then. Tanner and I just looked at each other, so proud of where we have come; feeling so blessed. We could have never imagined being parents to such beautiful little daughters, and being more in love than ever before.
