By 5:30 I'm back in bed snuggled under the covers and beside Tanner. The sweet sound of my girls' slow sleepy breathing lulls me to sleep. Somewhere between 6 and 8, Tanner leaves for work. Around 8:00 I'm awoken by the sudden screams coming from the kitchen. It's Gwen and she sounds like she is really hurt or really scared. I run downstairs to find her in the kitchen, crying, covered in yogurt, calling for her daddy, and saying that she's scared. So tragic. Poor girl woke up sometime in the morning, looking for her dad, got sidetracked by the yogurt in the fridge and then realized (or thought) she was all alone in the house. "I scared! I scared!" After a hug and a kiss from mom, she settles down and I help her get dressed.
8:30 Lily wakes up, letting out sweet "I'm awake!" squeals. I feed her a warm bottle. Meanwhile, Gwen watches her favorite show right now, Toopi and Binoo.
It's 9:00 now, and I'm realizing I need to get the day going. Following the FlyLady Morning Routine, I'll be:
-Getting dressed to shoes including hair/face, brush teeth
-Making the bed
-Swishing & Swiping (basically, I'll be cleaning the bathroom sink/vanity)
-Emptying the dishwasher
-Rebooting the laundry (a Load a Day Keeps CHAOS Away)
-Checking the calendar/today's schedule

Lily is now 7 months old and she is all smiles. These days, Lily is rolling ALL over and we find her in the most unusual and awkward places. Under the coffee table. Under the couch. I feel like she's going to start crawling any day now (just watch, now that I've said this, she probably won't crawl until June).
If you like her headband, I made the flower using a free crocheted pattern found here. If you're looking for a quick project, this is it! It was super simple and I made the entire headband in 30 minutes.
