Good Odd Goings On

So, here is what's going on over here :

  • I am heading into my 35th week of being pregnant. Despite having over a month to go, I feel immensely humongous. Being a "high risk" pregnancy due to blood issues. I have ultrasound almost every week. They are keeping a very close eye (or doppler) on this little girl (Did I mention we are having a girl? Have I even mentioned yet that I'm pregnant? Blogging lately has been pretty patchy, at best.), so I get very regular updates on how baby is doing and her growth patterns. She is one. big. baby. as she already weighs just over 7lbs. If I was to go to 40 weeks. She could be a 11 pounder! Good thing I know my doctor wont let me go past 37 weeks. On the rare occasion I get dressed and put make-up on. Such was a day this past Sunday, so I had Tanner take a picture to mark the occasion:

  • As I get bigger each week, so do Gwen and Lily. Gwen is finishing up her first year of preschool this month. She is one conversational little girl and reminds me of myself when I was her age: always telling a story, that made not sense, stumbling over my words as my brain was going faster than my mouth could speak. This is what I've been told about myself, and it is Gwen to a T. Lily is growing up so fast and is immensely independent. I love it and hate it at the same time. Does that make sense? Lily will be turning two in a few weeks, I can hardly believe it.

  • In the midst of preparing ourselves and our home for baby #3, we are also preparing for a dramatic move across the nation. Tanner was accepted to Dalhousie University and will be studying Architecture in the fall! Which means . . . we are moving to HALIFAX! I am equally nervous and excited. What an adventure the next 4 years will be for our family, and I am excited to blog all about it. This summer will be spent organizing and packing and house hunting. (Do you know how stressful it is trying to find a place to live when you are over 4000 km away? If you don't know, I'm sure you could guess.)

And that is what's going on over here.
