Now most bloggers will make a fancy wreath, paint an old dresser, or sew a pillow. So when I decided to take on this challenge myself, I took the road less traveled and chose to update my hair, inspired by one of the pins on my "Hair" board.
So, this is it. Rachel McAdams is one of my most favorite young actresses. She is beautiful, vibrant, and Canadian. She also has a great sense of style. In 2007, Rachel showed up to a red-carpet event with pink in her hair. Other celebrities, before and since, have embraced the pink hair, but none of them come close to pulling it off as Rachel so elegantly does.
So I took the challenge and brought this picture to a hairstylist (I know. I know. It's not so much a DIY project as the challenge would recommend. Don't hate.)
Here it goes! First off, a picture of me-self seconds before I ran out to the salon :
Now a picture taken immediately after getting the BIG CHOP. I am told that I had almost 10 inches taken off, and I'll be donating it to Locks of Love.
Lastly, the final results! I am very happy with how it turned
out. It's definitely not as dramatic as my inspiration photo, which I
guess is a good thing. Thinking about it, I'm liking that the pink is
more subtle and everyday. I am so so so so so so so happy : ) I love the blonde. I love the pink. I love the cut. Christine, my hairstylist did an amazing job. I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with a haircut.
So, what do you think?

WOW! I didn't realize your hair was so dark to begin with! The new style looks excellent!! You're so daring -inspirational even (as Isaac is pulling my hair as I type) I've been waiting all day for this post!
