A Meal I Didn't Cook

The last time our little family went out to eat, it was a disaster. Gwen wouldn't stay in her seat, didn't eat most her food, made a mess of what she did ate, threw a temper tantrum, and spilled her water . . . twice.

A mother/wife usually says that any meal that she didn't cook herself is a good one

 BUT

sometimes I'd rather stay home and make grilled cheese
than take a toddler to a restaurant.

So, on the weekend, when we opted to use our gift card to Montana's
Tanner and I both took a deep breath and prepared for the worst.

Miraculously, Gwen was amazing.
No tantrums. No spills. Big appetite.
And, apart from the time she bolted out of her seat and ran into the lounge and behind the bar, there was relatively minor squirmy-ness.

YAY!

FYI : When asked what they would like to eat, Gwen will always ask for a salad and Tanner will order the biggest burger on the menu. Guaranteed.
