Hat! Hat! Hat!

Gwen loves hats, and for her a hat is overgeneralized to include anything that goes on your head, such as headbands, hair clips, hoods, and, of course, actual hats.

Her favorite thing to do with a hat is to ask for help putting it on and then taking it off 20 seconds later only to ask for me to help her put back on. This cycle is repeated SEVERAL times. Another one of her favorite things to do is to look at herself in the mirror while wearing a so-called "hat", especially the headband type as she can easily take it on and off and readjust as she sees fit. Now and again she will also try to put hats on unsuspecting victims, namely Lily and her over sized teddy bear. The first of which needs to be closely monitored.

Today she discovered her new winter toque and has been wearing it all morning, running around yelling "Hat! Hat! Hat!" Now to get her to wear her coat with it. Right now, all I'm getting from her is "No. I don't want."

Well, at least her head will be warm.
