I am chronically tired, these days.
This is what my body is telling me.
This is what my body is telling me.
And I know that it's all because of the paper route.
Things wouldn't be so bad if I could just get myself to be on time.
To be in my bed, ready for sleep, by 10:00 shouldn't be so difficult, right?
But it is.
So, the reason for me not blogging for the past two weeks is this:
I'm tired.
Beginning in April, I decided to take the plunge and add another route to existing my one.
I was ambitious enough to even take on a route that was significantly bigger,
adding roughly 160 papers onto my comfortable 115.
That's 275 papers, people . . . PLUS flyers.
This is how I did it:
Go to bed at 10:00(ish).
Wake up at 2:00.
Pick up papers by 2:30.
Drive and start delivering by 2:45.
Run. Drive. Hydrate.
Sing Out Loud.
Finish routes sometime between 6:00 and 7:30 (depending on the day/flyers).
Drive home and crawl into back into bed.
Gwen and Lily wake up anywhere between 7:00 and 8:00,
Most days I can get another hour of sleep before they wake up,
and when they do, Tanner let's me sleep until he leaves for work.
But there have been a few "special" days I come home to find the girls awake and Tanner readying to leave for work. Meaning: I have be Mom on only 4 hours of sleep.
Enter stage right- Crazy Mom.
There was only so much I could take of that - feeling guilty as I lay my head on my pillow; no matter how hard I tried, I would always feel I was lacking in some capacity.
But NO MORE.
I am back to just one route again. It will be the newer larger one, but, by itself, it is perfect.
So, again, sorry for the hiatus.
I'm back.

On a side note :
It's Tanner's birthday today!
He is now 26.
It's sad that he had to come home early from work today on account that he's flu-ish.
Hopefully THIS will make him feel better . . .
. . . or make him feel worse.
I guess it could go either way.
